VeggieTales Veggies in Space The Fennel Frontier

Veggietales: Veggies in Space Review and GIVEAWAY

UPDATE:  Two winners were randomly selected and the winners are…

  • Samantha Russeau
  • Crystal Mcneily

Veggietales have been a part of our family since shortly after the birth of our first son, Noah. While he is now almost nine, he (and his brothers) still loves VeggieTales just as much as he did as a toddler. We have a slew of VeggieTales DVD’s, plush animals, puzzles and even dinnerware. In fact one of Noah’s first favorite toys were his VeggieTale bath toys that he took everywhere we went.

Noah called Larry, “Joe” because the first Veggie Tales movie he saw was “Little Joe” where Larry portrayed the bible character Joseph.

When we were given the DVD, Veggietales: Veggies in Spaceto review, my boys couldn’t wait to pop it into the TV! Since every VeggieTales movie lines up perfectly with our family values I too couldn’t wait for them to see it. Each VeggieTales DVD teaches kids an important character quality while keeping it fun, engaging and silly. Both kids and parents can watch it together and enjoy the whole way through.

In Veggietales: Veggies in Space, sharing is the focus.

A Lesson in The Power of Sharing! Join Captain Cuke (Larry the Cucumber) and his loyal first officer, Mr. Spork (Bob the Tomato), as they embark on an out of this world adventure to bravely travel where no Veggie has ever been. The entire USS Applepies crew takes on Luntar the Looter, a power stealing space pirate, but they’re in for a big surprise when they find out what’s motivating him!

My son, Noah helped me with my review. He said in this DVD Bob, Larry and the whole crew learn about sharing when Lentar’s son explaines the importance of sharing. My boys absolutely loved the silly songs that all VeggieTales DVD’s offer and the new catchy tune Asteroid Cowboys in Space is sung here all day long.

GIVEAWAY:

Leave a comment below to win one of TWO VeggieTales Veggies in Space The Fennel Frontier DVD’s. There will be TWO winners and both will be randomly selected.  Giveaway end on 8/20.

This might be the weirdest shopping habit that act This might be the weirdest shopping habit that actually saves me money every year. 👀✏️ Because back-to-school season isn’t just for back-to-school shopping! Here are three reasons I always grab a few extras: 1️⃣ Extra for later: I buy extra school supplies NOW while prices are at their lowest so I can restock later in the school year. 🦁✨ Look behind the stage of Disney's @thelionking 🦁✨ Look behind the stage of Disney's @thelionking at @playhousesquare My son and I saw the show last week, and it completely blew us away. The costumes, the music, the puppetry... it was one of the most incredible productions we've ever seen. ❤️ DON'T be late! The opening number is quite a unique experience. The next morning, we went back for a behind-the-scenes tour, and it made us appreciate the show even more! We learned that some of the masks are made with real horsehair, got to see how the amazing puppets are operated on stage, and discovered one of my favorite fun facts... Zazu's neck is made from a slinky! 🤯 Another fun surprise? Rob Sapp, who plays Ed, one of the hyenas, is from Solon, Ohio! 🙌 I always love hearing about local talent making it to Broadway, and it made the experience even more special knowing there was an Ohio connection. It's amazing how much creativity, engineering, and artistry go into bringing this beloved story to life. Whether you've seen the animated movie once or a hundred times, seeing it on stage is an unforgettable experience. 🎭 Disney's The Lion King is at Playhousesquare through August 16, and I can't recommend it enough. If it's on your bucket list, now's the time! 💛 Have you seen The Lion King on stage? Or tell me your favorite Broadway show in the comments! 👇 #bwycle #thelionking #clevelandmom #ohiofindithere
🩷 Would you hand feed the world's LARGEST rodent? 🩷 Would you hand feed the world's LARGEST rodent? We had the BEST day at @africansafariwildlifepark in Port Clinton, Ohio! This family-friendly attraction features both a drive-through safari and a walk-through park where you can get up close to hundreds of amazing animals from around the world. One of our favorite parts of the day was adding on the Capybara Feeding Experience! Capybaras are the world's largest rodents, and getting to feed these gentle, social animals was such a unique experience. For a small additional fee, the park also offers several other animal encounters, so you can customize your visit with even more unforgettable memories.
