Can you believe that summer break is right around the corner??  I think I’m as excited as my kiddos!

As you know, soon after break starts, you’ll probably start hearing, “Mom, we’re bored”, sooner than later.  No worries, here’s a FUN and FRUGAL way to beat the heat at CINEMARK theaters!

Each summer, participating Cinemark Theaters run their Summer Movie Clubhouse.  For 10 weeks, they play one children’s movie per week (rated G or PG).  Best of all, tickets are just $1 per person, per movie (for adult and child).  Want an even BIGGER deal?  Buy a bundle in advance and pay $5 for all 10 movies! That’s only $.50 a movie!

Keep in mind that showtimes and movie titles do vary by theater.  If you’d like to see what’s playing at your theater, just hop over to their website.  Since tickets are on a first-come, first-served, be sure to arrive early to grab a seat.

This July, Walking With Dinosaurs The Arena Spectacular returns to Quicken Loans Arena.  During this breathtaking 8-performance engagement you will be transported back in time when dinosaurs roamed the earth.  Based on the award-winning BBC Television Series, Walking With Dinosaurs will return to North America this summer to amaze you.  Worldwide, more than eight million people have seen this show in 243 cities and over 2,000 performances.

During the show you will be able to experience these life–size beasts and truly see what is feels like to be up close and personal to these magnificent creatures.  Painstakingly details have been added to these beasts which include feathers, head crests and tail fans. This show remains a must-see for audiences of all ages.

Walking With Dinosaurs The Arena Spectacular  introduces you to 10 species from the reign of the dinosaurs. The show includes the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the terror of the ancient terrain, as well as the Plateosaurus and Liliensternus from the Triassic period, the Stegosaurus and Allosaurus from the Jurassic period and Torosaurus and Utahraptor from the awesome Cretaceous period.  The largest of them, the Brachiosaurus is 36 feet tall, and 56 feet from nose to tail.  Simply amazing!

On Friday, my family took a short trip out to Youngstown, Ohio to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents LEGENDS!   Boy, were we glad we went!  All of our favorites performances were there such as the Torres family and their roaring motorcycles, magnificent Asian elephants, Alexander Lacey and his large cats, and all of the clowns and their hilarious antics.

The last show is Monday night (4/28)!!  Be sure to grab your tickets!

Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus Youngstown Ohio

Held at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, this action packed show unites iconic circus stars with living mythological creatures in a celebration of the LEGENDS that have captured imaginations for centuries.

We were amazed, entertained and in complete awe during the whole show!  My kids were pointing, dancing in their seats and laughing throughout the whole circus.  It’s truly easy to see how the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey circus is called the Greatest Show on Earth!
