I am excited to announce a movie giveaway at the Drive-In theater! Science fiction film fans here is your chance to be among the first in Ohio to see The Vast of Night on Friday, May 15th or Saturday, May 16th, 2020 in Cleveland

In the Cleveland area, the movies will be at:

  • Cleveland (Mayfield Road Drive-In)
  • Ravenna (Midway Drive-In Theater)

SYNOPSIS  Rated PG-13 / 13+ genre fanboys/girls film
“You are entering a realm between clandestine and forgotten.” So begins the story of one fateful night in 1950s New Mexico. Photographed in soft, inky-dark tones and shot in nearly real-time, THE VAST OF NIGHT follows young, winsome switchboard operator Fay (Sierra McCormick) and charismatic radio DJ Everett (Jake Horowitz) as they discover a strange audio frequency that could change their small town and the future forever.

Set at the dawn of the space-race and replete with uncanny and ironic period details, THE VAST OF NIGHT falls down the rabbit hole of Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone and stitches together a narrative scavenger hunt through dropped phone calls, AM radio signals, secret reels of tape forgotten in a library, switchboards, crossed patchlines and an anonymous phone call. The unexpected is explored both in the film’s twisty plot and its bold cinematic style, which includes stealthy long camera movements and even a spookily effective black screen.

THE VAST OF NIGHT GIVEAWAY:

Two readers will WIN a car admission to the movie! That means everyone in your car is included! To enter simply leave a comment below telling me that you want to go to the movie!

Oh my gosh I would love to go with my family!! I did not even know they were opening again! We love both those drive ins and give them our patronage frequently. I’ve been worried about how their businesses were going to be impacted. So glad to hear they will be open.

#ad Am I the only one who still gets excited to fi #ad Am I the only one who still gets excited to find the perfect card? 💌 In a world where most messages arrive with a quick text or emoji, there's something extra special about opening a handwritten card. Whether it's celebrating a birthday, congratulating a graduate, cheering on a friend, or simply letting someone know you're thinking of them, those little notes can mean so much.   That's why I'm stocking up during the @hallmark Semi-Annual Sale! Now through July 5, buy one, get one 50% off greeting cards at Hallmark Gold Crown stores, Hallmark.com, and the Hallmark Cards Now app.   I love keeping a card stash at home so I'm always ready for life's big celebrations and those unexpected moments when someone could use a little encouragement. ❤️   Shop the sale in my bio!!
Would you dare give someone a thrifted gift? 👀 👇👇 Would you dare give someone a thrifted gift? 👀 👇👇👇 Hear me out... I needed a housewarming gift for a friend who just moved into a new home, so I headed to @voathrift, instead of a big box store. I walked out with a basket full of adorable finds! 🏡🛍️ The best part? Several of the items were brand new! From cute home décor to kitchen goodies, I found thoughtful gifts for a fraction of what I would have spent buying everything new. I truly think it's less about where a gift comes from and more about the thought behind it. 💙 So tell me... would you thrift a gift for someone? Or have you already? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 😊 #ThriftFinds #VolunteersOfAmerica #ThriftStore #HousewarmingGift #SecondhandStyle
