Cedar Point opens today!!
If you are local to Northern Ohio, you’ve definitely heard of Cedar Point! Cedar Point is one of the best amusement parks in the country. I’m amazed as I chat with people throughout the park how far some travel to spend just a day there. Within forty minutes of our home we are able to get in the gates and have some fun.
Cedar Point’s season runs May 12th to October 28th. With such a long season it may pay to look into a season’s pass. Once your pass is paid for you can go to Cedar Point on any day for free. Depending on which pass you choose, parking can be free as well as their water park, Soak City.
When we get passes we will pack a lunch or dinner and spend just a few hours at a time. With passes we are able to enjoy both the hot summer days to the cool nights in October. Best of all with Cedar Point’s Platinum pass you can get into Cedar Fair’s other eleven amusement parks for free. These parks are as far away as Canada to as close as Ohio. We are actually planning an overnight trip this summer to Cincinnati since Kings Island is included in our season pass.
This year Cedar Point is offering a great option for season passes for those on a budget. For the first time ever they are offering payment plans. If you purchase your passes before May 28th you can pay in three monthly installments. This is sure to help families and individuals.
If season or yearly passes are not in your budget this year, start to plan for next year. Putting a little aside at a time will help make it possible
