Whew! What a week!
I started off good and hit the gym twice last week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then the trips began. On Thursday, my mom and I took my two oldest boys to Kalahari. While we had a lot of fun it was hard to pick healthy choices among a sea of unhealthy ones. After Kalahari we were off to the drive-in and I got to sit between a tub of popcorn and a container of nachos and cheese. Fabulous!

My husband and I spent the evening away in Pittsburgh and went to the Improve to see Wayne Brady. What a great night to spend alone with no kids. Even better, we sat next to Kurt Angle (Olympic wrestler; I had to google him but my husband knew who he was right away) and met both him and Wayne Brady! I’m sure Wayne was SO excited to meet me, just look at his smile 🙂
Now back from my busy weekend, I’m back on track. I’ve been to the gym twice this week with plans of going at least two more times and I’m eating right. As for weight loss, I did lose 2 lbs this week with a total of 15 lbs lost. It’s been a slow week for weight loss but a I’m not worried I’m running a race and I know I’ll come out ahead.

So happy for you Rachael! Great job. You are doing it the right way. 1/2 lb a week is a good job, so you are ahead of the game already. You have the right attitude. Sometimes, you just have to enjoy life as it comes at you;}
Congrats on meeting Wayne Brady. He is extremely talented and I am sure that you and your husband will have great memories from your night there!
