Summer will be here before you know it and I’ve started to plan! I like my kids to have a FUN summer break but I also like to keep them active and busy. My kiddos have never been to a day camp but this year I’m looking into Beulah Beach in Vermilion, Ohio. Beulah Beach is a Christian based campground located on the beautiful banks of Lake Erie. They offer weekly day camps, family camps, conferences, family vacations and more. Best of all, I think the price is great!

As a ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Beulah Beach Camp and Retreat Center has been a place of rest, relaxation, & spiritual renewal for guests since 1921. I’ve known about Beulah Beach my whole life, as my parents used to rent a house here back in the 1970’s! My mom even jokes that it’s the place that I was conceived (I know… maybe a little too much information).  In fact, our family had a wonderful weekend camping here over a long Labor Day weekend about a year ago.

While I work from home, I’m looking into Beulah Beach Day Camp for a few reasons. I feel it’s important for my kids to get out an experience so much more than what I can offer at home. We do a lot during the summer, but I can guarantee that by July, I’m running out of ideas. I’m also choosing Beulah Beach Camp because of the amazing reviews that I’ve heard! I have several friends who have sent their kids for a few years and not only do the parent’s rave about Beulah Beach but their kids do too! Lastly, while I love having my boys home, all three of them are a bit shy. I think Beulah Beach Camp will be the perfect opportunity for them to break out of their shell and meet new friends, all while in a safe and fun environment.

Beulah Beach is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for children and camper safety is important to them! They keep a 8 to 1 camper staff ratio and there is always a registered nurse on duty and certified lifeguards during swim time. While each five day session is packed with fun and excitement, every part is supervised and programmed. Rest assure that all staff members are fully trained and are there to make sure that you child stays safe and have fun!

So what can your child expect at Beulah Beach Camp? Waterfront activities are offered every day (weather permitting) while sports, activities, and special events can vary from day to day. Water activities can include swimming, canoeing, boat rides, pool time, a slip-n-slide and more. If they love sports, they can participate in softball, hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, t-ball, and can even try out the big 6 foot ball. Don’t forget about the activities too including music, crafts, relays, archery, and water games just to name a few.  The Beulah Beach Camp program is packed with many opportunities for physical, mental and spiritual growth, as an individual and as a team.

To help your kid’s have the most fun available, Beulah Beach has four different types of day camp adventures to choose from. Pick one or try them all out!

• “Kick It”
  This week will be jam packed with fast-paced activities to get you up and running. Basketball, kickball, soccer and lots of amazing races will be just some of the ways you will have a blast this week! Take your game to the next level!
   
• “Soak It”
  Dive in for a great week of DayCamp! Swimming, wacky water games, boat rides, slip -n- slide, and canoes are just some of the awesome activities we’ll race through this week. Don’t miss out on soaking up the sun, sand and surf this week!
   
• “Discover It “
  Get ready, set, GO! We’re on a race this week to discover so many new things about nature, the world and YOU!  Scavenger hunts, games, crafts, and many other exciting adventures await! You won’t want to miss this!
   
• “Rock It”
  We’ll zip across the lagoon, swing on the giant swing, climb the rock wall and so much more as we race to the finish line! Don’t miss out on some crazy, fun, EXTREME adventures this week!
