May 27, 2013 by racheljk 1 Comment

Read below why I think a Cedar Point season pass is an awesome deal!

On Saturday, May 11th, our family headed out to Opening Day at Cedar Point!  It was a chilly day but that didn’t damper our spirits at all.  After a long cold winter we were ready to start our summer early at Cedar Point!  We were beyond excited to be there!!

If you would like to visit, be sure to enter to WIN a 4-pack of tickets to Cedar Point! (giveaway over)

We are lucky to live within 30 minutes of Cedar Point and so we grab season passes every year.  If you are local to this area, I think Cedar Point passes are an awesome deal.  Here’s why.

When you get a regular Cedar Point pass you’ll get unlimited visits to Cedar Point from May 11th all the way to October 27th.  Since Cedar Point has over 150 rides, shows and attractions there is a little something for everyone.   Once you’ve made only three trips to Cedar Point, your pass is paid for.

1

Your season pass even include admission to the ever popular HalloWeekends that start in September.  During HallowWeekends, Cedar Point transforms into family-friendly spooky entertainment by day and a little scarier at night.  Don’t worry, even if you have young kids you can still visit at night.

Cedar Point makes getting a season pass affordable for ALL!

Through May 27th you can get your 2013 Regular Season Pass for as low as six easy payments of only $18.50.  With the payment plan, Cedar Point is making it accessible for all!

1

If you are looking for an even BETTER savings you may want to look into the Cedar Point Platinum Season Pass.  These are the type of passes my family gets each year because of all the awesome perks.  With a Platinum Pass you’ll be able to get:

FREE Parking– Parking at Cedar Point will cost you $15 a pop each time you visit UNLESS you have the Platinum Pass.  You know how I love FREE, so this perk is fabulous!

Early Entry – Enter the park 1-hour before the general public.  This special access will give you a head start on your day and even give your early entry to the rides, GateKeeper, WindSeeker, Millennium Force, Raptor, Maverick, Iron Dragon, Ocean Motion, Midway Carousel and Planet Snoopy.

Exclusive Ride Nights– Several times during the season,Platinum Passholders are invited stay after closing to enjoy exclusive rides on some of their most popular coasters

Fabulous Discounts– We all love coupons and with a Platinum Pass you’ll score some great money-saving offers on food, merchandise, games and resort stays.  To find the perks, Click Here and then click “2013 Platinum Pass Perks”.  Here are only a few:

  • VIP Show seating at some shows
  • Hotel deals
  • BOGO FREE $2 Games
  • BOGO FREE rides on Skyscraper, Challenge Racing, Challenge Golf

Admission to Cedar Point, Soak City & all Cedar Fair Parks– With a Platinum Pass not only will you get unlimited admission to Cedar Point and Soak City, but you’ll also snag FREE admission to any other Cedar Fair park!  This will save you a ton of money if you plan a family vacation!  Simply head to any of the Cedar Fair parks and your entertainment will be FREE!

A Cedar Point Platinum Pass is only a little more but is completely worth the extra money.  Now through May 27th you can get a Platinum Pass for as low as 6 payments of $29.99.  With all that’s included above, I think it’s a steal of a deal!

So have fun all the way into the fall and grab a Cedar Point Season Pass!  I hope to see you at the Cedar Point!

Disclaimer:  This is not a paid post.  All opinions are my own.  Cedar Point offered me free Opening Day tickets to share about my experiences.

Oh man, my hubby is going to LOVE this deal!

Today only, May 21st, you can snag a $.31 small iced coffee at participating Dunkin’ Donut locations.  Even better, 100% of all proceeds will go to a local charity!  For you locals, I called the Elyria store and they ARE participating.   Because of this I would imagine all area DD stores will be also.

Please note this is available only at Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Erie, Youngstown, Toledo, Parkersburg, and Clarksburg area locations

Thanks: Melissa!

🦁✨ Look behind the stage of Disney's @thelionking 🦁✨ Look behind the stage of Disney's @thelionking at @playhousesquare My son and I saw the show last week, and it completely blew us away. The costumes, the music, the puppetry... it was one of the most incredible productions we've ever seen. ❤️ DON'T be late! The opening number is quite a unique experience. The next morning, we went back for a behind-the-scenes tour, and it made us appreciate the show even more! We learned that some of the masks are made with real horsehair, got to see how the amazing puppets are operated on stage, and discovered one of my favorite fun facts... Zazu's neck is made from a slinky! 🤯 Another fun surprise? Rob Sapp, who plays Ed, one of the hyenas, is from Solon, Ohio! 🙌 I always love hearing about local talent making it to Broadway, and it made the experience even more special knowing there was an Ohio connection. It's amazing how much creativity, engineering, and artistry go into bringing this beloved story to life. Whether you've seen the animated movie once or a hundred times, seeing it on stage is an unforgettable experience. 🎭 Disney's The Lion King is at Playhousesquare through August 16, and I can't recommend it enough. If it's on your bucket list, now's the time! 💛 Have you seen The Lion King on stage? Or tell me your favorite Broadway show in the comments! 👇 #bwycle #thelionking #clevelandmom #ohiofindithere
