In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or other designated local charities.  Their goal this year is to raise $3,000,000 for charity!

Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised $13 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.

FREE Movie Screening: Bad Word in Westlake, Ohio 3/3/14

Want a chance to see a FREE movie?  There will be a FREE screening of the upcoming movie, Bad Words, staring Jason Bateman at Crocker Park on 3/3/14.  My hubby and I will be there, so be sure to say howdy, if you come too!

The movie tells the story of Guy Trilby (played by Jason Bateman), a 40-year-old man who decides for complicated personal reasons to enter a national Spelling Bee. Seizing on a loophole in the competition rules, and using an ambitious reporter Jenny Widgeon (Kathryn Hahn) as his sponsor, Trilby trounces his pre-teen competitors, using all means necessary. But in his rush to win, Trilby forges an unlikely friendship with a fellow spelling-bee competitor, an awkward 10-year-old named Chaitanya (Rohan Chand).
