We are “lucky” to not only have one birthday during the Christmas season, but TWO! My oldest son’s birthday is a week before Christmas and my middle son’s is a week after Christmas. Not only do we have two birthday’s next to a major holiday, but they are both smack dab during the cold, winter months in Ohio. To help separate between birthday’s and holidays, we try to plan super fun parties! This year we stepped it up and went to Dave & Buster’s!
If you’re looking for an party location for your kiddos, Dave & Buster’s is the place! Dave & Buster’s parties are super fun, everything is done for you, and best of all there is no clean-up! That’s worth every penny for this mom!
When setting up the party, I was able to do everything over the phone and by email. They even offered FREE emailed invitations for our party guests. The Dave & Buster’s party planner kept me up to date on any choices that needed to be made and the planning process went very smoothly. There are five different party packages to choose from which can help you fit it into your budget.
The day of the party went great! Even though I had picked probably the busiest day of the Christmas season to have the party, our server was amazing! She kept the drinks filled and the food came out piping hot. We chose to have our party out in the newly renovate sporting area with large screen TV’s and plenty of seating. Keep in mind that Dave & Buster’s offers many areas for your party needs from small family gatherings to large corporate events.
After getting their fill, the kids were ready to get to the games! With hundreds of state-of-the-art games to play in the Million Dollar Midway, Dave & Buster’s is fun for kids of every age. They offer classic video games, multi-player games, and interactive touch screen games. While our party plan included a $10 playing card, we upgraded their cards for unlimited video games for just $5 more. This was a hit!
As I walked around, I watched the kids scurry back and forth to their favorite games such as Skeeball, Big Bass Wheel and Fruit Ninja. While many of the games produce tickets which can be redeemed for prizes, a few are just for FUN like the race car and interactive games. I loved watching my birthday boy have so much fun with his friends!
Before the party could come to an official close, everyone stopped into the Winner’s Circle! In this area, Dave & Buster’s offers hundreds of prizes that can be “bought” with the points accumulated from the games that you have played. They have everything from candy and stuffed animals to more adult friendly items such as electronics and household wears. Points don’t expire so if you want, simply keep them and add them to the points won at your next visit.
My son had such a fun time at Dave & Buster’s for his birthday. In fact, he deemed it the BEST party he’s ever had! This is a win in my book!
