Today my family and I used our LivingSocial deal to the Great Lakes Science Center deal that I posted a few weeks back!

This circus is in town and this isn’t just any plain old circus, it’s the “Greatest Show On Earth”!

Last night my family attended the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus in Cleveland, Ohio and we had a blast!  We’ve been going to the circus every year since my oldest son was a baby so it’s an event that we all look forward to each fall.  In fact, I remember going to the circus as a child with my own parents and I have such fond memories.

While we go every year, Ringling Bros. does not disappoint.  Every season they bring a whole new show to town with a new theme, songs and performances!  It’s so fun to see my kids faces when some of their favorite performers come out!

When you go to the circus, don’t forget that you can attend the FREE all access pre-show (with ticket purchase).  This fun filled event held on the arena floor allows you to get up close to the performers to get autographs, try on clothes, and take pictures.  You really get to see what it’s like to be part of circus!  If you arrive early enough your kids can even grab FREE clown noses!

Last night I attended a screening of the new movie The Best of Me, in Strongsville and what a wonderful movie it was! This movie is full of romance, hope, and second chances. It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time – and I see a lot of them! This movie is perfect for date night or a girls night out. If you love other Nicolas Sparks inspired movies such as, The Notebook, Safe Haven, and Dear John, then this movie won’t disappoint.

The Cleveland National Air Show is coming to Burke Front Airport this Labor Day weekend August 30 – September 1!  This exciting, family friendly show is not to be missed! The Cleveland National Air Show has been Northeast Ohio’s Labor Day Weekend tradition since 1964, and attracts more than 60,000 visitors, making it one our region’s largest annual events.

This year the Blue Angels will return to 2014 Cleveland National Air Show which are sure to entertain!  At the show you’ll also see the Red Line airshows which is a unique duel formation aerobatic team, the WWII B-17 FLYING FORTRESS “YANKEE LADY”, and the WWII B-25 MITCHELL BOMBER “YANKEE WARRIOR”!

Not only is there high flying excitement in the air but you can also expect a ton of fun for the whole family including live entertainment such as the U.S Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team and the United States Fleet Forces Band, hands on exhibits, Drone demonstrations, and much more!

If you have kiddos be sure to also check out the Kiddie Koncourse and Kids Zone areas. Kids at the air show can stop by and experience 10 exciting activities and get even get their pilot’s license! They can also make your own aviation goggles and plane, experience hands-on learning to discover how planes work, play a few games, and take a picture as an astronaut! Kids can also have a ton of fun on the large inflatables geared just for them!
