The highly successful HBO television series ENTOURAGE is now a major motion picture and fans are already abuzz about being among the first to see it with their entourages. But, the will also appeal to those who haven’t watched the TV series with its aspirational Hollywood glamour story line and all of the amazing cameo appearances by a huge galaxy of celebrities. The film picks up where the series left off, chronicling the continuing career of movie star Vincent Chase and his entourage of friends – Eric, Turtle and Drama. The boys are back in business with super-agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold who bankrolls Vince’s directorial debut with a $100 million budget. Vince continues his carefree lifestyle and goes $15 million over budget while saying if the film fails they can just move back to Queens. Now helming his own studio, Ari deals with the problems of being a startup movie producer in his own ill-tempered way.
ENTOURAGE is directed by the show creator, Doug Ellin and stars the principal cast of the television series, including Adrian Grenier (“The Devil Wears Prada”, “Drive Me Crazy”) as Vince, Kevin Connolly (“Antwone Fisher,” “John Q”) as Eric, Kevin Dillon (“The Doors,” “Platoon”) as Johnny, Jerry Ferrara (“Grounded for Life,” “Leap of Faith”) as Turtle, and Jeremy Piven (“Old School,” “The Larry Sanders Show”) as Ari. The film also features a host of cameos including but certainly not limited to Ronda Rousey, Pharrell, Tom Brady, Liam Neeson, Calvin Harris and Jessica Alba just to name a few. Mark Wahlberg even drops in with his own entourage.
