The Glass Castle: A Memoir by Jeanette Walls

I first read this book a few years ago but since, have read it many times.  The author, has a wonderful knack for storytelling and will keep you captivated from cover to cover. She is very candid in sharing about her childhood experiences, and I found it amazing that she wrote about her neglectful parents very matter-of-factually and without any judgment. It was refreshing to see how she was able to rise out of the deplorable childhood that she had to become who she is today.

The reviews are excellent!  It currently has a 4.6 out of 5 stars and has over 2800 customer reviews.

Synopsis:
