We love Cedar Point!
We live in Northeast Ohio and are blessed that we are so close to the best amusement park in the world! I’m amazed, as I chat with people waiting in line, how far some have traveled to spend just one day at Cedar Point. I definitely take it for granted that it’s only a short 40 minute ride from our driveway to the entryway of Cedar Point.
Before having kids, I remember standing in lines anxiously waiting to ride the highest, fastest and most unique coasters in the world. Now that we have young children, we have a different experience at the park but we have just as much fun!
Since my 3 boys are 6 year old and under we get to spend quality time together on many of Cedar Points family rides. The Skyride, Space Spiral, and Ferris Wheel (all pictured below) are a few of our favorites. We can all ride them together while also getting a view of the park from up above.
The park has three main kiddie areas that we spend the majority of our time at. Two are located at the front of the park while the third is towards the back. Many of the kids rides have the option for an adult to ride along so it’s a FUN time for the whole family! My kiddos can ride these rides over and over again and we are able to spend hours and each kiddie area.
A wonderful feature in Planet Snoopy is The Family Care Center. This air-conditioned building offers restrooms, cold water, a changing table, bottle warmers, rocking chairs, private nursing rooms, and a small play area for kids. When I was nursing my babies this area was a God-send! This building is also one of the first aid centers at the park.
We are so excited that our oldest child is now tall enough to start riding the big rides. Once he gets up his courage, our Snoopy Land days will be numbered!
Not only did we venture to Cedar Point, but we also spent a few hours at Soak City. Be sure to look for that post where I’ll share some pictures and one of Cedar Point’s secret gems. Stay tuned!
Disclosure: This post was not sponsored by Cedar Point and the opinions are mine. My family has season passes to Cedar Point and I was not given any tickets to faciliate my post.
