Disclosure: I was invited to the grand opening and got a tour of the store. I was also given a swag bag and gift card for myself along with a gift card to give away.

Have you heard the great news? After a five-month renovation, Market District — formerly Giant Eagle, is now open at Crocker Park.
During the grand opening last week I got to take a tour and see all of the renovations. Even better, I got to do it with Food Network star, Sunny Anderson!

You are going to love the new Market District store. It’s not only huge, but it’s packed with everything you need … I mean everything! You’ll be able to find all of the items you need for your family dinner as well as unique items for that special recipe you are making for friends.

Market District has a wide selection of conventional and organic farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. You may even find a produce item that is new to you! I spotted a bakery, fresh seafood area and even a dry-aged beef case. If you are new to this area, ask one of the knowledgeable butchers to help you select your meat.

Market District in Westlake offers up an in-store bar with Northeast Ohio craft beers. This area also boasts more than 600 craft, imported, and domestic beers and a vast wine selection with expert wine stewards.

If you get hungry while you shop, Market District has you covered. Wok Street, offers grab-and-go sushi. My mouth was salivating! These delicious bites are great to take home or to to eat right in their sit down cafe. This area was buzzing with excitement!

Westlake Market District is exclusively selling (soon to be in other stores as well), their new meal kit service called Great to Go! These are sure to make dinner a breeze. In fact, you’ll be able to create a gourmet dinner with the easy to follow directions inside. Everything you need is there!

Market District stores take pride in being able to offer many local products throughout their store. These include Full Fork Premium Pasta Sauce, Pope’s Kitchen, Randy’s Pickles and so many more. Market District is a great place to support local businesses.

Market District is invested in the local community as well. At the Grand Opening, Market District presented a check to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for $10,000 to help kickoff their Harvest for Hunger campaign. If you’d like to help out too, you can while checking out, during the campaign.
You’re going to LOVE the new Market District in Westlake! This store has everything you need as offers a fun and unique shopping experience.

My tip is: try not to go shopping on an empty stomach! 😁 My daughter and I absolutely love Market District – we love to sit down and eat there if we can (their food is delicious) – and then continue on with our shopping! We also love to order their pizzas, do shopping, then pick it up after we check out! Their pizza is amazing!
Always looking for sale items to cut the food budget, this store looks fabulous
Shop alone and use coupons 😁
My favorite shopping tip is to make a list by category; therefore less chance of forgetting an important item.
Tip … plan your list around sales and coupons
Get there early in the morning they usually have their meat marked down from the day before
Be sure to plan your coupon use on advertised items before going to the store…this saves lots of time in the store.
I try to use Ibotta for extra savings!! Those deal savings add up quickly

My tip is to follow the match up provided! Make sure you make your list and check it twice! Always prepare for the unexpected (find/out of stock).
Make a list and don’t make plans because you’ll be there awhile!!
Shop the perimeter of the store because that’s where the healthiest food is.
Do not shop with your husband!
When you have to bring the preschoolers, make sure you have signed up for the kids club at Giant Eagle so they can munch on fruit, cookie or cheese and give you at least 30 seconds to collect your thoughts and start. After that, good luck!
Don’t shop when hungry!
Make your list comparing it to what is on sale and then check and see if there are also coupons…don’t forget the ecoupons!
Do not take kids or hubby because you end up with a bunch of stuff you don’t need!
Check Couponing with Rachel’s page for all the match ups!!

Never shop hungry!
Look for discounted meats. Usually 2 days before the sell by date. Get in the freezer if you’re not going to use. It helps keep your meat costs down.

I’m loving curbside! Saves me so much time and money, avoiding buying things I don’t need!
The lowest priced items in any section will be on the top and bottom shelves, not the middle ones that are easier to get to. Bend and stretch to save some money.
My tip is to go to the store early – with those coupons in hand, of course! I always find great discounted meat deals, the store is less crowded & overall, it’s easier to focus on those great deals!
Don’t go shopping hungry!! Lol…
Do not shop hungry and don’t take your husband! Lol! At least not mine, he puts too much in the cart!
Favorite shopping tip…..send your husband to shop with a list!
Always do a coupon match up before you go!! Clip your coupons and be ready.
I love getting a ripe pineapple!! Just pick a leave from the top if it gently releases it’s ripe if not don’t buy it!!
Do the online grocery pickup shopping. Then there is no impulse buying
Buy spices from the Mexican food aisle. I worked at Giant Eagle for years and I can tell you that Badia brand spices were sometimes a quarter of the cost of name-brand American spices and often cheaper than the store’s generic brand.
First don’t take hisband and kids. Don’t go without a list. Make a couponing matchup list from couponing with rachel. Dont forget your coupons. Lastly absolutely do not go hungry.
My favorite shopping trip is when I can pay with a gift card!!
Never go hungry!
My tip would be if you can not stick to a list when you’re in the grocery store, ask yourself if you need it or want it. If you need it, it’s usually an item to help you prepare something and If you want it, it’s usually something ” extra” that you may not really need.
I gave you my old email….new one is listed below
Never go hungry and negotiate prices between booths.
Take a list and have the kids get involved! Have them get the grocery items with you because then they feel helpful!
Always double up coupons with sales!
Make a list. Set a budget and stick to it!
I like to check Rachel’s Couponing match ups on Couponing with Rachel before I head to do my shopping at Gaint Eagle!
