There is just something about finger foods that I love! Little bites of delicious snacks that you can make a full meal of! While I’m not great at making these tasty bites, I truly admire the talent and creativity it takes to makes so much flavor into one small little bite!
The BEST place to try out so many delectable treats is at the Cleveland’s Finest Hors d’Oeuvre Contest. This amazing event benefits Our Lady of the Wayside and has become one of Cleveland’s must attend events. This evening of fun, creates a friendly chef competition between some of Cleveland’s best restaurants and attendees can be the judges.
This year’s contest takes place at Terrace Club at Progressive Field on Thursday, February 16. Participating restaurants such as Tartine Bistro, The Driftwood Group, Merchant Street, Carrie Cerino’s, Momocho, Aurora Inn, Zack Bruell Restaurant Group, and more will all be there to tempt your taste buds.
In addition, there will be desserts from Cupcake Cravings, wine and beer samples and live music. Hosting this event is Tim Richards, Jen Toohey, and Desiray Cross from Star 102. I just love them!
Tickets are $80 and all proceeds benefit Our Lady of the Wayside’s mission of supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities through a wide range of services from transportation to housing to employment. This year marks Our Lady of the Wayside’s 50th anniversary and there has never been a better time to support this amazing organization!

This year the Silent Auction is mobile! Please register in advance for the silent auction, avoid the lines, and get a head start on early bidding the week of the event. Featured Silent Auction items include two sets of Cavs Courtside seats to the February 27th Milwaukee game, diamond jewelry, autographed Indians and Cavs items and vacation packages to Myrtle Beach, Florida, Mexico and Hawaii.
