Are you a Giant Eagle shopper? If you are, then a gas can (or a few) is a MUST HAVE accessory! No really, I mean it!
Giant Eagle offers many great deals each week with no strings attached but often times they also offer deals with FuelPerks savings. FuelPerks is savings at any Giant Eagle Get Go gas pump. How much you money you save on gas is determined by how many FuelPerks you have earned as well as IF you have a gas can.
Things to know about the Giant Eagle FuelPerks program:
- Earn $.10 in FuelPerks for every $50 you spend at Giant Eagle or GetGo.
- Earn an extra $.04 in FuelPerks! when you use your Giant Eagle FuelPerks Credit Card.
- View your available FuelPerks! at the bottom of your receipt.
- Your fuel discounts expire on the last day of the month, two months after they’re earned. For example, discounts earned during the month of April will expire on June 30 of the same year.
- When redeeming your fuelperks!, your discount must also be redeemed in its entirety in a single transaction. You can pump up to 30 gallons into a one vehicle.
When redeeming your FuelPerks you can get up to 30 gallons of gas. Since you can not fill your car and then another, gas cans are a must. If you aren’t getting your 30 gallons of gas when redeeming your FuelPerks discount, you are missing out. Here’s a recent scenario to check out (this deal is no longer available):
Giant Eagle cereal Deal
$.20 in Bonus FuelPerks wyb 3 ($6 value wyb 30 gallons of gas)
$.40 in Bonus FuelPerks wyb 6 ($12 value wyb 30 gallons of gas)
$.60 in Bonus FuelPerks wyb 9 ($18 value wyb 30 gallons of gas)
After doing the awesome Giant Eagle cereal deal, let’s say you have $2.00 in FuelPerks. If you are coming into the station needing a full fill up then let’s say you need about 15 gallons.
$2 x 15 gallons = $30 saved!
If you had max out the number of gallons allowed you would have saved DOUBLE!
$2 x 30 gallons = $60 saved!
By only getting 15 gallons of gas you are LOSING money! By just buying one or two 5-gallon containers, you’ll make your money back in no time. Grab your gas cans at nearby stores such as Walmart or ask family and friends. Some might have cans for you to borrow for a time before you can buy your own.
