This is a sponsored post in partnership with Savers. All thoughts and ideas remain my own.
This past week I finally started a mom’s most dreaded chore… the switching of the seasonal clothes. Since it’s almost November, I should have done this weeks ago but every season I put this task off as long as I possibly can.
While going through drawer after drawer, digging through closets and tearing up my attic, I found more and more in my home to organize. Over the summer months I had gotten lax. Items were out of place, our toy bins had grown and we were swimming in clothes.
Now that fall is here, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to declutter and make room for new things that will be coming in from two upcoming birthdays and Christmas. After about an hour and a half I had wound up with a large pile of clothes, housewares and toys. After cleaning, I just wanted it out. No selling, no waiting for garage sale, just out. Now that I have a Savers donation drop spot in my area, I knew exactly where it was all going.
Savers Donation Drop Spots have partnered with Savers Donation Drop Spots and have recently opened 11 new donation drop spots in the greater Cleveland area. In fact there is one within a mile from my house. What’s awesome is that Savers pays Easter Seals Northern Ohio when people donate their goods at these Savers donation drop spots; even if the items don’t make it to the sales floor.
These Savers Donation Drop Spots allow you to drive up and drop off your clothing and housewares. It’s so convenient that they accept more than just clothes at these locations which means less driving around for me.

While there are many things that I love about the Savers Donation Drop Spot my favorite it that there is someone at each location spot to greet and help you (during specific hours). In fact the nice gentleman at mine came right to my car as I was pulling up and asked if he could help me unload! As a busy mom of three, that was definitely helpful.
While dropping items off I was asked if I wanted a receipt for tax purposes. I’m so glad he asked as I had completely forgotten. It’s certainly a great perk to this donation drop spot.
The new Donation Drop Spots are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The time switches to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting the first week of November and lasting through the winter months. If you wind up stopping by without anyone there Savers Donation Drop Spots offers self serve boxes to put your things inside.
I love that Savers is inspiring local communities to donate reusable items to local nonprofits instead of throwing them in the trash. In fact, Savers has become one of the largest recyclers of used goods in the world, keeping more than 650 million pounds of reusable items from landfills each year.
In addition to the good deeds and eco-convenience Savers offers, the stores also boasts awesome deals! Savers has pioneered a thrift store experience that has defied typical expectations for secondhand shopping. You won’t find cluttered piles and broken equipment on the shelves at Savers. Instead, the stores are spacious, well-lit and easy to navigate.
