What about nursing that are like retired ( like all I have is my old military ID)
Brandy says
Does this apply to nursing assistants as well?
racheljk says
I would like so, Brandy. Just show your ID.
Jenny says
This is in honor of nurses week. Teenage have their own week but they are honored in a few weeks, but not sure any food places recognize it
Jenny says
Oops that was suppose to say CNA week not teenager lol
Charlotte says
I too am retired and have my old ID also is this offer good at the grocery stores? That’s the only place you can get Cinnabon.
Lisa says
What about the personal support worker who is front line with people in long term care or any place elce..
Katelyn says
Was wondering the same thing.. I don’t see why not!
Jenny says
This is to honor nurses only for Nurse apprecitation week….just like teacher appreciation week
carmel maalouf says
Nurses are professionals who have gone through specific schooling and have a scope of practice that is unique in terms of ethical and legal responsibility to patients. Once a nurse always a nurse.Certifications, degrees, and diplomas cannot be forgotten they are badges of honor and struggle which are hard won for the love of science and for the love of people regardless of their socioeconomic group, ethnicity, or religious background. Everyone in the healthcare team has their place, but Nurses earn their week of respect.Thank you Cinnabon.
Patty says
Define Nurses only?
DL says
BSN or AD degrees that have registered nurse after their name.
Erica says
Respect to all PSW’s but they are not regulated. RN’s n RPN’s r registered staff who practice under a license!
Lorraine says
I don’t have an ID badge as I work at a nursing home what about a pay stub?
J. SHAH says
What about your nursing license?
jackie says
how about nursing students?
Sonya says
Was wondering also about personal support workers. Without us nurses wouldnt be able to efficiently do their job. We are front line. I noticed a comment nurses only. Well then youre saying im only a psw. Ask nurses around you if they think were just psws. Anyway my rant is over. I support ALL nursing staff. HAPPY NURSES WEEK!!!❤❤❤
Jay says
There are lots of places that don’t utilize PSWs. Nurses are perfectly capable of functioning without them.
Patty says
Well said Sonya!!
Erica says
Respect to all PSW’s but u guys are not regulate. RN’s RPN’s LPN’s all practice under a license! That what makes the difference and a PSW scope of practice is way different from a nurses scope of practice!
Traci says
Happy Nursing Week!! The hospital I work at is celebrating ALL nursing staff. This includes all Nurses as well as CNAs, such as myself. There hasn’t been a question about it. We all work together as the nursing team. I personally feel it makes sense, even those at LTC facilities.
Colleen says
Well said Traci
Jose says
Can I just show my license. With picture ID
racheljk says
That should work Jose but you could call your store to confirm.
Kimberly says
Last week was National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week….where were the perks for us?!?
Jane Looney says
Hey! How come during National Medical Lab Week you did not recognize our profession? Without us doctors and nurses would be guessing what’s wrong with you!
B says
You need to get the word out. Contact your employer, local newspaper and local TV stations for coverage. If you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem.
gloria says
We are not seen by anyone in the hospital even though 70% of all medical decisions are made using our results. We are the lab. A lot of us have 4 yr degrees plus some. We get no recognition.
Colleen says
Well at our LTC facility everybody eats whatever we have for CCA week so why can’t we have it for Nurses week ! Anyway define Nurses because CCAs are with the patients every minute of the day and night 24/7.
Tori says
How about nursing students?
Meagan Phillips-McMahon says
Well we called the Temple and Belton texas stores and they both told me they were not honoring this. It really bummed me out and I notified all my nursing friends and colleagues so we did not waste our time driving to their locations.
Bailey Judd says
Really rude that this is not offered to at Canadian locations.
KW says
Everyone relax. It’s nurses week. Big deal. Some places choose not to give recognition to others. When k was a CNA/PCT/Tech support staff, I never said what y’all are. Being a nurse is hard. I thought thwy uses to sit and do nothing until I became one. Let the nurses have their week, CNAs had theirs. My job gave them gifts and whatnot. Lab gets a week too. Maybe it’s different state to state. But please stop conplaining. Peace and love

Very disappointed…I went to Cinnabom at Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener and the worker refused me my free cinnabom when I pulled out my RN ID badge!! 🙁 He said they are only giving them out Friday May 12th. I had my 2-week old newborn with me and barely made it to the mall to begin with…told the worker this and said I wouldn’t be able to make it back on Friday and still..no free cinnabon! Sad.. 🙁
