Separate tickets to this event are needed.

The International Women’s Air & Space Museum

Hosts Rocket Day Thursday, June 16

Hey Cleveland, looking for a fun day out? The International Women’s Air & Space Museum (IWASM) will host the long-awaited return of Rocket Day on June 16, 2022. It will be full of hands-on learning. This event is geared toward children ages 5-12, and participants will learn the history of rockets, witness the launch of different types of rockets, and have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities including film canister rockets.

In addition, attendees will register to win Fandango tickets to see Disney and Pixar’s LIGHTYEAR and win prizes from the new movie, which opens only in theaters on Friday.

This event will occur outside in the parking lot at Burke Lakefront Airport. Participants will have the option to register for one of two sessions. Session One will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EDT. Session Two will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT. Registration is required. Adults are required to stay to accompany their children during the sessions. In the event of inclement weather, registrants will be contacted with an alternative date and registration transferred.

The cost for the event is $3.00 per person and registration payments can be made via cash, check, or by visiting the IWASM website. Payments via credit card are subject to a service fee. For more information, please call 216-623-1111 or email info@iwasm.org.
