Netflix Prices Go Up

Those of us who subscribed to Netflix a few years ago, we were most likely grandfathered into the subscription price of $7.99 per month. However, starting next month Netflix prices will increase to $9.99 per month to match the price new Netflix subscribers starting last year. Over 15 million Netflix customers are still on this grandfathered rate, which means there are a ton of that will be paying more for the service starting in May.

The good news here is that Netflix is giving us a lot more bang for our buck than it did two years ago. The company’s highly ambitious plan to produce tons of interesting With all of the original content that Netflix has been putting out such as Full House, Orange is the New Black, Jessica Jones, or Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, it’s bond to cost more money, which is why it’s not surprising to see Netflix increasing prices.
