In anticipation for the upcoming release of the new Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3”, a a nationwide tour called Road to the Races is rolling into Cleveland next week. On Tuesday, April 25th, head down to Cleveland Public Square from noon to four where all the FUN will take place!
During this FREE event, fans will take part in a host of activities and get a sneak peek of the movie. You’ll also be able to interact with life-size, character look-alikes such as Piston-Cup champion Lightning McQueen, tech-savvy Cruz Ramirez and the sleek next-gen racer Jackson Storm.
A bunch of corporate sponsors will also be at this event which will be providing even more freebies and fun! Alamo Rent A Car will be hosting a street art booth and will bring “Cars 3” to life with a giant coloring mural featuring Lightning McQueen and friends, along with a color pencil pack souvenir. Coppertone® will be creating a racer pit crew that will have visitors take part in a tire-changing activity and photo-sharing opportunity. Crest® and Oral-B® will be providing fans with an opportunity to create a digital postcard with Lightning McQueen and be giving away “Cars”-themed oral care products. Dole®, will invite visitors to fuel up and recharge their batteries by providing high-octane fruit and vegetable smoothies and Mattel will be offering an interactive play area. Also on display will be a collection of die cast racers from past and present.
In addition, the sports national youth program NASCAR Acceleration Nation will display the science behind NASCAR racing, and elements from the NASCAR Hall of Fame will allow attendees to get up close and personal with the history of NASCAR.
