We just celebrated International Women’s Day and I can’t think of a better time for the premiere of Marvel’s newest movie Captain Marvel!
This week, my family had the opportunity to see an advance screening of this movie, and we all LOVED it! This movie is packed humor that you usally can expect with Marvel Studios along with all the action and special effects that we all crave from these films. I LOVED that Captain Marvel shows a strong female superheroes that all kids can look up to, especially girls!
This film is rated PG-13 but I personally didn’t have a problem with my 8 year old seeing it. The battle scenes can be intense but aren’t graphic. There are a few swear words that pop up but nothing over the top.
At the end of the movie, be sure to stick around through the credits for a teaser for the Avengers: End Game movie coming out 4/26/19! Oh my goodness, my whole family can’t wait for that one!
