I’m tickled pink that a Bonefish Grill restaurant has opened near me! On Monday, February 22, Bonefish Grill opened its doors at 1900 Crocker Road at the popular shopping area, Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio. With scrumptious wood grilled fish such as Atlantic Salmon and Ahi Tuna as well as meat options such as Rib-Eye Steak, Bonefish Grill is the place to go for date night or a family lunch. This polished yet casual restaurant is perfect for those of us who crave high-quality specialties at a good value.

I was able to visit the new restaurant and fell in love with this gorgeous decor and the pleasant and accomodating staff. This 6,352-square-foot restaurant features a spacious dining room with a large bar area including three large community tables and an outdoor patio. One of my favorite parts of the restaurant is the private dining room for special occasions, meetings and private events. This unique area offers a large table with comfortable seating along with full media technology.
While visiting Bonefish Grill, I was able to sample a few of their newest creations as well as a a couple of their delicious staples. Our night began with a two amazing drinks; the Wild Orchid Hawaiian Martini and the Grapefruit Martini. Both of these drinks were smooth and tasty. These seasonal cocktails taste like a vacation in glass and will chase away any winter blues. I’m loving that the Wild Orchid is even edible (it’s a must-try).
Any visit to Bonefish Grill wouldn’t be complete without a sampling of their most popular appetizer, Bang Bang Shrimp. This was my first time tasting this delectable treat and it will now be on my table every time I visit.
This appetizer takes crispy shrimp and tosses it in a creamy, spicy sauce. The shrimp are cooked to perfection and delight your tastebuds. They are spicy without being too hot which makes them enjoyable for all. Best of all every Wednesday this appetizer is only $6. Out with family? Save yourself a fight and order two, trust me!
While at dinner, I tried something completely new to me! I’m a pretty adventerous eater but somehow had never tried oysters. Bonefish Grill offers these tasty treats as an appetizer that you’ll want to try. You can even choose how you want them. Either raw on the half shell or baked Rockefeller style. I chose the oysters Rockefeller style (as pictured above) and they were scrumptious. Next date night, I’m ordering these for my hubby to try.
When I go out to eat, my eyes tend to go straight to the salad section. Since I started my healthy journey a few years ago, I’ve become quite a salad connoisseur. Bonefish Grill’s Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad was right up there as one of my favorites. This large salad boasts grilled shrimp, roasted corn, black beans, feta, grape tomatoes, red onion and a yummy cilantro lime vinaigrette. It’s large enough to take a portion home so you may want to ask for the dressing on the side.

If you love fish tacos, you’ll want to order Bonefish Grill’s Blackened Baja Fish Tacos. This choice is located in their “Hand Helds” section of the menu. This along with a few other choices are great for those in the mood for something quick and casual. These fish tacos were tasty and bursting with flavor. With this meal you’ll get three fish tacos in warm tortillas, topped with fresh romaine, mango salsa, lime crema + fresh herb pesto.
Looking for a hearty meal? Bonefish Grill has you covered! Recognized as the wood grilled fresh fish experts, Bonefish Grill offers a selection of fish species daily such as Wild Mahi Mahi and Ahi Tuna. All can be topped with their signature sauces such as Lime Tomato Garlic, Mango Salsa, Herb Pesto, Pan Asian Sauce or Lemon Butter.
They also offer up meat options such as Grilled Lamp Chops, Filet Mignon. I sampled the The Angler’s Steak, Ahi Tuna and Chilean Sea Bass. They were all “melt in your mouth delicious” and had me craving for more. The steak was cooked to perfection and needed no additional seasoning or sauce. The tuna was topped with a their Pan Asian sauce while the Bass was covered with the Mango salsa. All were bursting with flavor and I’ll be sure to order again.

Looking to splurge a little? Top off your meal with the Crème Brûlée. Be warned, you won’t want to share! This classic custard-style dessert offers a carmelized sugar crust and is served with berries and fresh whipped cream. This is a treat you won’t want to miss and is a perfect way to end a meal. You’ll thank me!
