I was recently invited to a BJ’s Blogger Event and I readily accepted. Since I’m new to the wholesale club world, I was excited to learn all that BJ’s could offer, especially during this back to school season.
BJ’s Wholesale Club is a one-stop shop that offers just about anything you can think of from clothes and electronics to high-quality food and fresh produce. In fact BJ’s carries the most product variety of any other wholesale club with more than 7,000 items, including supermarket-sized items. I even found that they offer bakery and have a full service deli. You can even snag Land O’ Lakes cheese at the everyday low price of only $3.69 a lb! That’s a crazy low price.
Since I know you all LOVE to save, you’re really going to love this! BJ’s is the ONLY wholesale club to accept ALL manufacturer’s coupons in addition to their store coupons. This means you can use (stack) both coupons on one item. They even allow you to use a manufacturer coupon for each item in a multipack (as long as each item has a bar code). Amazing, isn’t it?
BJ’s helps you save by offering store coupons that can be found in a variety of places. The first spot to find them is at the the front of the club. These coupons are put out twice a month and are offered on a variety of products. You can also locate coupon on their website by clicking the “In-Club Coupons” tab on the bottom of their home page. BJ’s also mails out a quarterly publication called the BJ’s Journal to a majority of its members, which contains store coupons.
While my children attend a school where they are not expected to bring in the typical school supplies the teachers do ask for class donations for things such as tissues, Clorox wipes, and Ziploc bags. I love that BJ’s carries these items in bulk so that I can pick up multiple items at once to donate. Of course, I also love that I can use my coupons on them!
As I was walking through the aisles, I was amazed by all the things that BJ’s offers in the back to school section. Printer paper, glue sticks, pen value packs, notebooks, pencils, binders, portfolios, planners, and much more! You could buy enough school supplies to last you all year. No more shopping mid-year for items that are hard to find or higher priced. With the school supply value packs you can split them with a friend or donate half a pack to your child’s teacher. They will thank you, I promise!
BJ’s even makes packing a school lunch easy by offering a wide variety of lunchboxes, Thermos insulated containers, and even Rubbermaid interlock containers that include ice packs. These special containers will keep food fresh and cold until lunchtime. BJ’s also offers pre-packaged apples, juice boxes, yogurt, cheese, crackers and much more. These snacks aren’t only easy to pack but healthy for your little ones.
