Disclosure: I was offered tickets to media night. No post was required. As always, opinions are my own.
Last night my boys and I headed the opening night of Annie at Playhouse Square. Growing up, Annie was always been my favorite Broadway musical. In fact, after the classic 1980’s Annie movie came out, I just couldn’t stop singing and dancing all over the house. Songs such as “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” and of course, “Tomorrow”, where a few of my favorites!
Annie was a HIT for my whole family! Even my youngest, who’s five years old was mesmerized. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations and I tickled pink watching my boys sing along to all of the iconic songs. Everything about the show was amazing; the music, sets and costumes. There were endearing moments that will just tug at your heart as well as times that you’ll find yourself laughing out loud! The seasoned actors as well as the kids in the show were simply wonderful. Keep an eye out for one of the stars, the pup Sandy. He’s a star for sure!
Grab your tickets for Annie in Cleveland the whole family and you’ll be in for a real treat!
