I did something new and something just for me! Mamas, we deserve it!
My sister started doing her lashes a few years ago and I noticed not only her long eyelashes but also all the compliments she’d get when wherever we went out. When The Lash Lounge Westake, located at Crocker Park, invited me to give it a try, I was in!
As soon as I stepped into the gorgeous and updated space, I immediately felt at ease. From the pretty decor to the comfy lounge area, I was excited to get started.
I filled out a quick form and met my Lash Artist. I loved hearing that The Lash Lounge sets itself apart from others, by employing Lash Artists who have been taught the latest technology and standards.
My stylist walked me to the back area that was filled with comfy lounges. Before we started she explained the application process and we looked at a book together that helped me decide what look I wanted. You can choose from a more classic look or something more dramatic. There are a lot of choices, even down to the curl that you want on your lashes.
Once everything was decided, I settled back and relaxed. You can choose to chat with your friendly consultant or use the provided earphones with music. You can even choose what you want to listen to. In about two hours, my lashes were done. There was no discomfort at all. In fact, I actually fell asleep through a lot of it. How relaxing is that?!
So what did I think? The difference in my lashes was amazing! Check out my before and after pictures above. I thought it was just enough lash without being too dramatic. My friends and family noticed it right away and best of all, it looked like I was wearing makeup when I was hardly wearing anything at all.
