Last night my family and I headed out to Monster Jam in Cleveland, Ohio.  This was a first for all of us and what a FUN night it was!  The show will be in town until tomorrow so there is still time to grab your tickets.

When we first arrived we we attended the Pit Party where we were able to head down to the floor to see the trucks up close and even meet the drivers.  My boys were amazed how big the trucks really were.  All the drivers were so kind and took time talking to each one.  My oldest brought his own mini version of Grave Digger and was so excited when the driver suggested signing it.  He was over the moon!

During the Pit Party not only were we able to see the Monster Trucks but also the the 4 wheelers and the military tanks. The kids were able to jump into tanks and even peep out the top.  My youngest squealed with delight when he saw a life-sized GI Joe!

If you are able to attend a Pit Party in your area, I’d HIGHLY suggest it as it’s only $10 more per person.

After a quick blogger event we headed to our seats.  I was so happy to see that we were on the second level.  I think being any closer would of scared me.  Of course, I’m a big baby and I didn’t see anyone “scared” down below.  The opening ceremony brought tears to my eyes with the the national anthem and the presentation of the flag.  It was such a great way to open an all-American sporting event.

Before the trucks came out we were sure to grab our ear plugs and ear muffs.   You can bring your own or purchase them at the show but this show is VERY loud so these are a must!

The show was awesome!  It was fun to see all the different trucks such as Spiderman, El Toro Loco, Son Uva Digger, Grave Digger and more.  We rooted for our favorites while watching each one race while performing stunts.  The kids loved it when they brought out the crushing cars.

My middle son really liked the four wheelers and motorcycle stunts the most.  Since it was a little quieter I think he was able to really focus on the show.  It was crazy to watch how the motorcyclists could fly through the air.  I can’t imagine the adrenaline rush.
