My family and I love this FREE event that my local Giant Eagle puts on each year! Even if you don’t love in my local area, you may want to be on the lookout for flyers or promotions that will be promoting this event at your store.
At this event, kids can come dressed in costume (or not) and are given a goodie bag. Parents then walk with their children to different stations around the store to grab different treats. What I like the best is that in past years they have not just given candy away. We have gotten everything from juice boxes, to small toys, to string cheese!
As you can see in the flyer they also offer an area where you can take a picture, with your own camera. One piece of advice is to not get there right at the beginning, when it is the busiest. We will usually wait until around 7:00 pm. when there is no line.
