This giveaway is now over. Congrats to Stacy Grapes who was randomly selected.

This Friday, the highly anticipated movie Money Monster will premier. This edge of your seat thriller stars George Clooney (I’ve got such a crush!) and Julia Roberts. This looks like the perfect date night movie that you’ll both enjoy! In fact, my hubby already put it on our must-see list.

This past weekend I shared my favorite money saving tip and now it’s your turn! Do you have a favorite money saving tip that you’ve learned from my blog, at my coupon class or just have one of your own? Comment below for a chance to win a MONEY MONSTER prize pack! This prize pack will include:

  • $100 Visa Gift Card
  • Money Monster t-shirt
  • Money Monster poster

Money Monster
Release: May 13th
Starring: George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack O’Connell
In the real-time, high stakes thriller Money Monster, George Clooney and Julia Roberts star as financial TV host Lee Gates and his producer Patty, who are put in an extreme situation when an irate investor who has lost everything (Jack O’Connell) forcefully takes over their studio. During a tense standoff broadcast to millions on live TV, Lee and Patty must work furiously against the clock to unravel the mystery behind a conspiracy at the heart of today’s fast-paced, high-tech global markets.

This giveaway will end on Saturday, May 14th. The winner will be chosen randomly.

I use this at CVS, when buying products where you u get in store cash Bach, split your purchase up. I.e, buy $15 in Sally Henson, get $5 cvs cash. So you may buy other things like milk, diapers, buy the nail polish first so you get your cvs cash and then make your second purchase

I used to live in an apt. that I had to put my can goods in drawers not cupboards. I took masking tape and put what was in the can and put it on the lid of the can. When I used one I took the tape and put it on the inside of the cupboard door. I always knew what I had to put on my shopping list. You could use the masking tape quite a few times. If you have a prepared list you save money but always look for carts in the stores with closeouts or reduced items

My tip is try and use all the coupons you can in 1 transaction. Whether they be cents off coupons or free product coupons. Some stores like Walmart will give you the full value of the coupon even if it exceeds the product price! Ive done this several times and the extra $ gets taken off my whole transaction! My favorite money-saving tip is to reduce the number of times you go to the stores. Every trip to a store–any store–offers the opportunity to spend a bit more money that planned. That adds up over time. Better to go less frequently and shop bigger each time. (*Note: this does not necessarily apply to couponing when the match ups make an extra trip worth it.)

My favorite tip is do not cut apart Sunday coupon inserts. I date them and put them in a folder with that weeks date on them. Then when I see match ups posted and they give the circular date, I can go right to it. When I used to cut and search through piles of coupons, I would give up looking and not use them. Each week, I print a word page that says what coupons are in that weeks circular and keep them in a binder. This way I can just look through each list to check faster for those of things I am getting.

I know You need to pay down the highest interest rate stuff (credit cards / loans) first but we just couldn’t get ahead! We decided to get a Home Equity Line of Credit, which I was VERY hesitant about. The first year of the HELOC the interest is only 2.4% – much lower than any of our loans or credit cards. We only took out enough that we could pay back in that first year, but the line of credit will remain open for us to draw from for 10 years, should an emergency arise.

My sister and I had the BEST time seeing @peterpanthemusical at @playhousesquare and it was pure magic from start to finish! The sets were stunning, the flying scenes were jaw-dropping, and the cast brought all the nostalgia and wonder to life in the most heartwarming way. 💫 From the moment Peter soared onto the stage, we were hooked (pun intended 😂). Captain Hook was delightfully dramatic, the Lost Boys were hilarious, and Tinker Bell? Totally stole the show. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, laughs, and just enough fairy dust to make you believe in magic again. 🏴‍☠️✨ 🎭 If you’re in Cleveland, don’t miss it — Peter Pan is only in town through April 13th at Playhouse Square! Grab your tickets and take the whole fam (or just treat yourself). You’ll leave with a smile on your face and a little more belief in “never growing up.” 💚 #PeterPan #PlayhouseSquare #broadwaycleveland #NeverGrowUp #PlayhouseSquare #PeterPanOnTour
🗽 I had the BEST weekend in NYC with my son, wh 🗽 I had the BEST weekend in NYC with my son, who’s all grown up and living the college life! He chose everything we did! We stayed at the @aurahoteltimessquare which is literally steps from Times Square, so we kicked things off with the bright lights and hustle of the city. First stop: the American Museum of Natural History @amnh. We spent HOURS there and STILL didn’t see everything – definitely need to go back! 🦖✨ We took a stroll through @centralparknyc on a chilly but sunny day and climbed to the top of the Belvedere Castle. 🏰 Then, we went to an incredible concert at @townhallnyc where the orchestra played music from one of my son’s favorite video games. 🎶 Bonus: He got to meet the Grammy award winning artist @crosenmusic who arranged the music. After the concert we grabbed dinner at a local Irish pub @thelongroomnyc and listened to live music. We even met some new friends from Brazil! We stayed out ‘til the wee hours chatting and having way too much fun!. I can’t wait to visit them soon in their part of the world. 🌍 Our last day included some sightseeing, delicious food, and a little shopping spree. The Nintendo and Lego stores are two must visit destinations if you have kids! One-on-one time with my boys is always the best. It's so fun seeing him as an adult and sharing in his interests. From exploring the city to sharing laughs and new experiences, these moments will last a lifetime! Can’t wait for our next adventure! ❤️ #NYCWeekend #MotherSonAdventures #TimesSquare #CentralPark #MuseumDays #ConcertVibes #IrishPub #NYCFun
